You can change it during gameplay by holding down one of the directions on the d-pad. You saved me. I thought the game was bugging and was blaming Rockstar. Somehow I had changed from "Radar" to "Compass". Lol I thought the same thing. I remember restarting my game 3 times and not being able to fix it.

Jan 5, 2021 · A lot of people that have played Red Dead Redemption 2 using their PC are definitely looking forward to playing the game using a controller for much better control. So if you cannot afford an Xbox 360 controller for the game, then you need the X360ce Settings for Red Dead Redemption 2.

PS5 controller on PC. Xbox Series controller gets recognised by the game with zero configuration, no issues. PS5 controller does not. Even with Steam beta, launched through Big picture, no luck. Other games at least receive the emulated Xbox inputs via Steam, even vibrations work.
